The Party Helpers helped turn a back yard into a Jungle of fun with a Safari-Themed baby shower for a “mom to be” who doesn’t want to know the sex of the baby- The Safari Theme is gender neutral and fun for all!
Guests walked through a Safari balloon arch that was created by Amy Blach at AMB Designs and were greeted with a Paloma cocktail or mocktail ((tequila (or not), Italian grapefruit sparkling soda, fresh lime juice and an orange twist)).
Next, guests mingled around a beautiful pool with floating animals Noah would be proud to have on his Ark, and more safari animals on hanging shelves, as bar displays and strategically scattered around the yard. There was even an over-the-top-cute clothes line with baby safari animals hanging out, having fun.
When it was time to eat, enter a Summer Safari Buffet with Moroccan sliced chicken, lentil salad, quinoa salad, mango salad, naan bread and grilled rosemary ciabatta bread… all healthy and fresh. And for dessert, a “make your own” ice cream sandwich bar with a herd of “bare necessity” toppings topped off the meal. Dining was under a Danny Thomas canapé tent to block the jungle sun, and included elegant chandeliers for a touch of afari chic.
Baby Mom Caitlin Belotti and hosts Kimberly Bellotti and Kristin Dickens were thrilled as were the Safari guests. What a unique and fun way to welcome a new baby to the tribe.
