What a beautiful Tea Party-themed Bridal Shower. The Queen would have loved it! The Party Helpers just coordinated and catered a once-in-a-lifetime bridal shower with a formal tea party theme and it was spectacular.
Here is the back story: Covid 19
This tea party shower was supposed to happen last year in 2020 before the wedding which was also supposed to happen in 2020 in London. The hostess even invited the Queen and got a reply letter that the Queen had other plans and couldn’t make it but sent her best wishes along with regrets. Alas, Covid cancelled these plans and the shower and wedding were pushed into 2021 and held locally.
The Shower: Back yard Elegance
The shower was rescheduled to June and despite being disappointed that the wedding would no longer be in London, the hostess continued with the tea party theme complete with a tea sandwich and salad menu and traditional tea cup favors for each guest. Elegance was achieved in the back yard with a canopy including swags of fabric on the ceiling and a gorgeous chandelier. Chairs with sashes, traditional rose pattern china, vintage goblets and gold silverware rounded out the perfect setting. (Thank-you Danny Thomas Party Rentals)
Bloomsters Florists provided a beautiful array of pink and rose tone florals with tea cups in each one.
The shower finished with delicious Party Helpers theme desserts including scones with lemon curd, preserves and Devonshire cream, plus eclairs and mini tarts.
Pip pip as they say in London. The hostess, bride, and guests couldn’t have been happier. Despite Covid, their dream bridal shower was “brilliant”.
