We recently catered The San Jose Business Journal's gala event 40 under 40 at the Serpentine Pavilion in downtown San Jose, and it was spectacular.
The Business Journal's 40 under 40 event honors the rising entrepreneurs, influencers, creators, and executives that have shaped the bay area —and are paving the way for what comes next.
The Party Helpers, as fitting with the unique event and setting provided some very special hors d'oeuvres for the occasion:
Peruvian Ceviche: white fish marinated in lime juice with julienne red onion and aji Amarillo; served in plastic shot glass with mini fork
Balsamic Glazed Peach: on three-seed crostini with Gorgonzola cheese
spread; topped with microgreens
Black Angus Microsliders: Black Angus patties, topped with a slice of American cheese, crisp dill pickles, ketchup and mustard on a sesame seed bun
Beef Empanadas: A mouth watering mixture of beef, cheddar cheese, jalapenos and exotic spices wrapped in a corn masa pastry, served with spicy tomato salsa
Sliced Cheese Displays with clumps of grapes, crackers and baguettes
Caprese Skewers: mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil; drizzled with olive oil and balsamic
California Cobb Wraps: sun-dried tomato or spinach wrap with grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, bleu cheese and bacon bits
Greek Wraps: sun-dried tomato wrap with roasted turkey, lettuce, Feta cheese, Kalamata olives, roasted red pepper and herbed garlic gourmet cheese spread
Vegetarian Wraps: with roasted vegetables, havarti cheese, sprouts,
tomato, and herbed cream cheese
Beef Wraps: herbed cream cheese, tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese, roast beef with BBQ sauce on spinach or sun-dried tomato wrap
The evening finished with a beautiful selection of mini-desert treats. What a sweet ending to an amazing party with amazing people in yes, an amazing setting. Congratulations San Jose Business Journal for an event that will be remembered by all.
